OVERVIEW

Designed to give delegates theoretical and practical experience in basic slinging practices and controlling crane operations. Basic Rigger Training program is specifically designed to upgrade the existing knowledge and skill levels of basic and trainee riggers. It also focuses on determining the correct size and type of rigging equipment required to safely perform lifting operations. The absence of good rigging practices and lack of hands-on training contributes to a large percentage of material handling accidents.

WHO WILL BENEFIT

This course is aimed at banksman/slingers/riggers, crane operators, deck crew, roustabouts, drillfloor crews, hse reps,  and others involved in crane operations.

STRUCTURE

The course begins and ends with a written test paper and the successful delegates are issued Certificate of Competency.

This course is usually delivered at Energyray Training Centre, but can also be delivered at a client’s base/premises.
